Step inside the heart of the Elko Performing Arts Building. The PAB serves as a modern venue for live performances, education, and community events — designed to support both student learning and professional productions.
The story of the Elko Performing Arts Building traces back to the original Elko High School Auditorium, which stood as a centerpiece for performances and community gatherings for decades. In 1971, a devastating fire destroyed that beloved auditorium, leaving a lasting mark on the community and its commitment to the arts.
Out of that loss came determination. The Performing Arts Building was envisioned as a modern replacement — a space built not only to restore what was lost, but to elevate Elko’s cultural and educational opportunities. Today, the PAB stands as a testament to resilience, creativity, and the community’s ongoing dedication to live performance.
The PAB houses a state-of-the-art auditorium, rehearsal rooms, a spacious lobby, and full A/V capabilities. With professional lighting, sound, and rigging systems, the building supports everything from concerts and theater to lectures and conferences.
Our facility is built for professionals. Featuring a fully digital audio network, advanced lighting systems, and flexible stage configurations, the PAB is equipped to handle productions of any scale with precision and reliability.
